Sometimes people try to find balance within an unbalanced system, which only makes them more unbalanced.

When you get caught in a viscious cycle and cannot extricate yourself. When that balance leads to stagnation. When you are not longer thinking independently.
There are many forms of balance. Sticking to just one type is a bad thing after a while.
We can have socialism and balance, but sometimes you have to shake things up. Humans can explore many different energy states, but we are not well versed in the subject of balance. Balance is everything, eventually.
