it depends on the situation if you dont know the person and they continue to say it i would reply but if its a friend or some one you know i would leave it alone or ask them why they said it

I think it's best to leave it alone... One offensive comment can't make our life looks bad. Other people will know that the person who offense you is a bad person (except if you really are like what the person said...)

If you know this person I would say Yes address it. BUT if it is like a stranger on the streets, I'd say let it be.
