I got a party tonight where I'm going to meet up with some friends that I haven't seen over a year. However, my ex-boyfriend will be there and it'll be the first time with our friends that we haven't been together.
I had a stupid tiff with him last night because, regardless that I was already invited, he kept the party a secret from me. I can't help but think that I'm going to the party just to dance around him all night (metaphorically speaking) and act all 'I'm not hurt and I'm over you'.
So should I go? Thx for your answers!

I would go and hold your head up high even if you feel awful inside. Enjoy the company of your other friends. If you have to speak to him be polite and keep it short and sweet so that you don't make your friends feel uncomfortable. Is there one particular close friend that you could meet up with before hand for a bit of moral support and so that you don't have to walk in alone?

You should definitely not let him spoil your fun. Just because he is at a party, he can't expect you to not go. He needs to realise that, and quickly. If you haven't moved on, and are still hung up on him, you're going to see him sooner or later. Go and have fun, and maybe he'll see you and realise what he's missing.

If you dont go, you need to make sure you are doing something other than sitting about regretting not going!
Personally I would go, find a nice looking chappie and snog his face of in front of the ex!

go to the party if you really want too, and don't pay any attention to what he's doing. it would be best if you had a date, but if not you could still have some fun if you get the attitude that you've got your life and he's got his, so who cares what he thinks

I think you should go, especially because he kept that party secret from you, I mean, who does he think he is...keeping that that party secret from you?Does he think your friends won't invite you anymore because of him? (well you don't have to go if you have another reason not to go, but if it's not like that, then go have fun)...
