I do. :(
Do you think the BBC will ever make a series 3? It stopped just as it was getting into it's stride at the end of series 2. Its such a shame there were only 14 episodes.
Rowan Atkinson (as Inspector Fowler) was brilliant as always, but my favourite charactor was James Dreyfus as Constable Goody. A Curly-Wurly fan with the sense of a three-year-old and a huge crush on Habib - he never failed to make me laugh.

So, who thinks the BBC should do another series? All the actors are still alive, aren't they? :P

What was your favourite episode? I loved that one in series 2 where they have to police an environmental protest, and Fowler organises a role play excercise to help then practice. I just laughed all the way through that bit, with Rowan Atkinson pretending to be a tree (holding an apple in one hand, a pot plant stuffed in his pocket and an origami swallow in his hair) and Goody sitting on his shoulders and saying "Don't bend my Curly Wurly!"

Good times. :)

Some funny quotes:

Fowler: (Talking about drugs) "When I was a teenager, my idea of chemical stimulation was sucking on a Fisherman's Friend!"
(Goody sniggers)
Fowler: "What is so funny, Goody?"
Goody: "Well sir, you just said your idea of chemical stimulation was sucking on a Fisherman's Friend!"
Fowler: "So?"
Goody: "Well, everybody knows that they're awful!"

Grim: "Just remember , it's my **** on the line ....
- ... and I don't want a **** up.
- .... so you'd better pull your finger out.
- ... and I don't want you sticking your nose in and sniffing about."

Yes, I believe that all the actors are still alive. It would have been nice for this programme to continue.

If you miss it so much, there are re-runs on Sky UK TV Gold.

I never really cared for The Thin Blue Line. I'd much rather watch Rowan Atkinson in Blackadder. Those I can watch over and over. There's not really any good British comedies on our local PBS station right now - they seem to be going through a dull patch.

it was a fantastic series that ended to soon, rather have this back than some of the rubbish they show now!
my favourite(hard to chose there were so many) was when the CID officers went through the initiation ceremony for the Freemasons - the scenes with the frozen turkey were hysterical

I love that show. iam watching it on UK Gold. Goody is the funniest. i think the funniest things he said was " Gladiators is my favourite. such thighs. colossal thighs. They could crush nuts with those thighs. in wolf's cause preferably his own!" . And also the one when Sarge. Dorkings becomes a traveller & that Stallion says "Nibble on my nuts!"

No. It was rubbish. If the BBC spent any more of my TV license on that crap I would have to smash up my telly.
