Are we all going mad, I did it this morning, and then after I sent it I apologised for not just asking her the question! And whats worse is she said I was crazy for even apologising

Last year i worked for a company where nobody spoke, they all just emailed each other. Either they were very unsociable or there was such a blame culture that they felt the need to protect themselves by putting everything in writing.
Either way - it wasn't good, so I quit soon after starting.

Yeah, thats an stupid thing to do. But not everytime, when I send a mail, there is a delivery report and also a sent item record, so its easy to take action against a lazy person. My Team leader sits right behind my work station. And I send around 4 mails to him daily.

I try to send an email to someone i talk to everyday whether it is the same person or not. I also send my sister letters and cards in the mail because she complains that no one ever sends her letters or anything. Now I suprise her and do it like at least once a week anyway.

One of my best friends is in the office next door but one to me and I have another friend on the floor below me. We constantly email each other all day, often just silly messages like coffee? and hello etc.

Ha ha ha.......i do it all the time!! My manager sits at the next desk and we email all the time coz we share a room with alot of guys and we do it to keep our conversation private!! Tee hee hee x x

It madness isn't it..we don't talk anymore.. but it does helps cut down on paper & stickynotes... and the lazy deliberately forgetful colleagues who used to be prone to say - I forgot - or you didnt tell me - nowadays you can tell them to refer to the email you sent them

I always send them to my husband and him to me! he sent me one yesterday saying you look beautiful today and i sent one back saying i know he he he.
