No it isn't a substitute. It is just that chocolate has some element phytosterols that is similar in effect to a substance released by your body when having sex.
Just think of full cream vanilla ice cream and the light version. It is similar but is it a true substitute?

You mean just chocolates or added something else.
What type of chocolates? White or Black.
But I do know that pure coco can subtitute of sex.

I think this depends on who you are, some people just get turned on by chocolate, and others dont.
