Even when they are wrong,
you are more wrong for noticing they were wrong.

I am a woman and I have no problem admitting when I am wrong. I know both men and women who have a hard time admitting when they are wrong. I don't think it is a gender issue. I think it has more to do with pride than anything else. Maybe the people who find it hardest to admit when they're wrong have been ridiculed for being wrong in the past.

They also have trouble admitting that some women are basically emotionally handicapped for 3-5 days a month by their periods. Most women are afraid that if they admit to being wrong, they're giving up power. There are areas where men are the ones that can't admit to being wrong, but direct communication about gender issues is not one of them. Even guys who won't admit they themselves are wrong won't defend the bad behavior of men like women tend to. Also, there are still too many guys that will allow this inequity, because otherwise they'll end up in the doghouse.

I think we all have trouble admitting when we're wrong, sometimes. Yes, it's a does give us a sense of vulnerability. We fear losing another's respect (or our own), or being judged too harshly or unfairly. We may fear consequences or repercussions from the mistakes we make. We don't like to admit we have faults, or that we make mistakes unless we feel emotionally or psychologically safe to do so. Those who are secure with themselves (and know how to put their mistakes into a reasonable, proper perspective and learn from them) fear admitting mistakes less than those do not.

It's pride and insecurity. A mature woman will have an open mind and be perfectly able to admit it when she is incorrect.

BTW, men do this very same thing all the time. It is not just a female problem.

I'm a woman and I'm always quick to admit when I'm wrong and to apologise. And my man does the same. Guess that's why we suit each other!

Well, I'm going to guess that some women will paradoxically challenge this.

You shouldn't create paradoxes.

You also shouldn't generalize a group of people and think they are all the same.

Men also find it hard to admit they are wrong. Anyone can feel the same simply because they are ashamed to admit it.

Because we can't admit men to be right. We are not vulnerable but in fact we are susceptible to be always right... lols!

It's easier for ANYone to past the blame rather than confess.

Isn't it easier to find the fault in someone else rather than yourself?

Of COurse it is why because most people don't anylze themselves - why should they when others do it for them constantly.
