You CAN get to know someone by dating them.
Often that is.
Dating is just going out, no strings attached.
No future expectations or plans.
A relationship is based on the expectation that you're moving into the future together. Possibly marriage...a family...all that jazz.
It's also a special bond you have. Like the one you have with your friends.

Relationship should refer to stability -- the process of linking, connecting or binding together. If you are preoccupied with looking for the things that will connect or "relate" you to another, you might not know him or her as well as you think -- you might not be able to see the forest for the trees. But, to some people, it is more important to maintain the status quo and *feel* close and compatible to the other person than to really know him.

Ask any shrimp which is the only animal able on anticipate emotions??? Is much more then that really on a love story. Is there simply all the reasons for your feeling. Making it real from dating to relationship is maturing things terrains and people only get to it if want to= that on some feelings is the exact wish we all have

Dating is a way to get to know each other to see if you want to be in a relationship.

relationships dont last that long
i guess its because ummm yeah (not many people take love seriously) minuse well stick to friends with previleges (re-bound)
dating complicates things because you dont want to say the wrong thing and in order for her to like you... to not say the wrong thing ..you have to lie a tiny bit ...and eventually your nervouse
dating would have to be broken down to ...hanging out depends if your active or none active
