I don't usually have that problem. When Yahoo shows me "similar questions" it is something so bizarrely different that it amazes me they would even suggest it is somehow supposed to be a question in a similar vein.
For example "have you ever had a traffic ticket?" will bring up some question about Rumanian folk dancing, or how to care for your gerbil when it is sick.

Do you ever start to ask a question and discover that you've asked it 20 times before under previous aliases? Maybe I should discuss this with Hugh Manatee over dinner as we eat Rocky Mountain Oysters. ;)

Yes, ask it anyway. There's always new people joining (like me) who haven't seen it before, folks who saw it last time and have an answer now that they didn't have before, and those lovely folk who gather their points by slamming.

yes sometimes but I asked anyway from my own words and the people that answers are now different so it's not exactly the same.
