he gave the fitness blog a break today and has started talking about Maddie.
"Sometimes people do things for reasons that even they cannot understand. An act of madness, an accident or sudden impulse can lead to consequences that people may never have imagined or intended"
do you think he is preparing for his insanity plea?
"Please come forward, return Madeleine"
Is this the first time he has asked for his daughter back on his blog?
I wonder what has changed. Why this sudden change in tone?
(I can hear the violations approaching)

I think it may simply be a reaction to the less positive tone of the Press coverage recently. I don't know if the McCann's actually genuinely thought that there wouldn't be people out there who would doubt their story or what, but as the hard questions are (finally) being asked, maybe this is an attempt to "prove" they are grieving parents. Whatever happens, finding the truth about what happened to Madeleine is paramount. She deserves justice, and the first step towards that is the truth. Maybe if the Tapas 9 hadn't tried to cover their own backs for the neglect, the case would have been solved a lot sooner, alas we will never know.
Sam J? You use more 100's and 1000's than a doughnut shop, for God's sake. Stop listing how many archived posts there are on the same topic and try actually ANSWERING a question occasionally, won't you? Spouting your opinion on other answerer's mental states is not the same as actually reading the question, and answering the blooming thing, OK?
The McCann's neglected their three babies, whether you like the speculation about the case or not, THEY opened up this can of worms when THEY couldn't keep their stories straight for longer than a minute. THEY have made themselves look guilty, not the PJ, not Murat and not us on the internet.
Face facts, they lied about the neglect, why should we believe them about anything else?

With view to answer given by James to Your Question.
Could well be McCann is becoming nervously uncertain.
Following on from that, I believe Sam J is following
in his footsteps. He says he counts the McCann questions.
Could this be Piltdownman , in the guise of Zorro ?

The sudden change of tone? Where? He has constantly been wanting his daughter back for 3 months.
He has just issued another message to the person who has taken Maddie.
What is wrong with you people? You do not stop digging for dirt.
You know what, you've pissed me off ,and I hope your sickness is not contagious. I'm logging off before I say something I regret to you.
I'll be back later, I need to chill out & try to work out what makes you sensationalists tick.

I think it is part of human emotions, we first deny it and then accept it. Also men, seek for solutions and if they can not find it, then they lash out into the outer world. It is all natural, let just accept it.

I seriously think someone steps in and does the blog for him when the going gets tough. Round about the time the blood was found there was no blog for days then 4 days worth of very conherent updates on the case appeared - no mention of jogging or dinner at all!
And yes, this is the first time he has actually mentioned his daughter in emotional terms.

This is an appeal not “a police statement”. Appeals are written by crime profilers and psychologist, not by the victims, and are directly appealing to the person/s who took her.

Something is sure not right. I smell Mr Rat. The closer things get to the truth the more uncomfortable he gets.
It's not like him to say something about Madeleine or maybe it is not him writing it. Could it be Kate I wonder????
Maybe Gerry can't write it cos he is getting more and more restless as the truth is getting closer.

Faith says it all for me.
I would add that continual posting of excerpts taken from Mr McCain's blog are both taken out of context and becoming very very boring.
What purpose does it serve ?
It proves nothing and is hardly earth shattering stuff is it.
It would seem it is not just Dave s with a "weird" obsession.

Click on the link given by Van der Elst and then read the additional detail link given by Shambo.
To me it sounds like Gerry is saying"we,we we," at the start of his blog as if to give a hint of an underlying confession but then at the end he uses"you, you, you" as though he suddenly remembers that he should be accusing someone else. I think this man is about to crack and the detectives will be watching and analysing very closely.
