Watch "The Merchants of Cool" and "There is a Policeman Inside All Our Heads."
The Matrix was dead-on, but it's not a literal computer simulation controlled by artificial intelligence; it's media-saturation and social engineering. The feedback loop is especially important to all of this. If modern society ran like clockwork, postmodern society is like the inner-workings of a neurotic mind.

[EDIT] A false reality is NOT inconceivable therefore cannot be impossible, it is just unaccomplishable (fortunately) at this time :)
Or one like the MATRIX movie anyways.
Some would consider this highly unlikely...BUT...I believe anything is possible, and things are only as impossible as one perceives something to be.
The only impossibility that could ever exist is ultimately impossibility itself. Whether it be physical or mental impossibility it just simply does NOT exist, and like someone has already quoted to me:
[EDIT] "What is, always has been...........what will be,always was! (Book Writer I believe it was who wrote it :) )
like the saying "There's nothing new under the Sun"...
In other words there has always been
flawless possibility, but never has there ever been flawless impossibility, because we keep finding the impossible quite possible with each and every generation.
Besides most things are considered impossible when we cannot conceive them yet, which means it's not impossible it's just inconceivable, and/or unaccomplishable at this very moment NOT impossible.
The word impossible means, something which cannot be done at all...
Well nothing on Earth exists in a state which cannot be moulded in some way or another, because everything on Earth is able to be moulded. And if we haven't found a way yet for any certain matter we will soon enough, we'll closer with each and every observation, that's always just a matter of time. Because mankind has proven it over and over again FLAWLESSLY. But people are still skeptical in nature, hence why it's still a debatable topic in so many ways.
But I also believe it would reach a further scope than just this world!
Like maybe something alien to our world could be classed as impossible but only to us, and/or in comparison to our world. Another race of beings out there may even excel past an already discovered alien race down the track somewhere, you just never know, eg like having stronger resources and/or telepathy and/or kinesis (hypothetically of course).
So the truth is, before anyone can believe anything is considered impossible (like the matrix theory is), impossibility has to be proven plausable, and so far it has never happened, because simply I believe it is NOT possible for impossibility to exist...
There are simply no stable grounds for such an obsurd outcome could stand (as such).
Anyone else?
The Realist Spiritualist
P.S. What Sabrina H posted (The Real Life Matrix Theory) I completely agree with it, and I have also believed that for a looong time and it's always great to see someone likeminded. I actually used to get picked on by most people whenever I mentioned that theory, so I must thankyou Sabrina H for helping me realise I'm not alone on that subject...And yes you are COOOL! because you've put a smile on my face, and that's always a good thing :)
[EDIT] (putting smiles on peoples faces, is what I mean by that, didn't mean to sound pompous in any way, sorry if I've offensive in anyway to anyone for that matter anywhere in this post JIC I have).
Did you know that Kharma really does work. And frequently too!

What we see is true reality but as travelers to a final unknown destination what we observe fades off as a loaded reel of camera. This again is a true reality we see.

The other question you need to ask is: is this view useful to your everyday life? does it help you in your day to day actions?
