I dumped dial up AOL years ago. But they sure gave me a hard time canceling it. Now what to do with all these cdroms they use to send me every week.

I've never had dial up. Before I got cable, I "shared" my cell phone's wireless connection with my desktop (which is what I still do with my laptop).

My parents just recently switched from dial-up to DSL.

I have a friend who just recently switched from dial-up to satellite.

No, not any more!
I used to use dial-up when I first used the Internet, but now I use the ADSL.
Dial-up is irritatingly slow and costs a lot!

hahaha i remeber those days i had dial-up,, when i first got my computer i got like a year free of dialup, never knew about highspeed cause i was small but eh.. its pretty easy to get dialup for free nowadays so i use it somtimes if my highspeed connection is crap

Dial-up is like a 5 minute torture in hell.
I have cable internet now.
