I was wondering if it is possible for the universe to expand with other solar systems? Meaning that "new"(or discovered) stars had planets orbiting around them.
My point expanding on the 1995 discovery of 51 Peg.

Solar analogs.
51 Peg is a star that scientists discovered had a planet orbiting it

Robert is pulling your leg.

The Universe is expanding and it is true that planets have been (and are being) found around other stars. These are called solar systems.

About 250 such planets have been found so far and the number will increase as our ability to detect them becomes more advanced.

The discovery of 51 Pegasi 50 light years away was significant because it led scientists to realize that planet sized bodies could exist in a wider range of environments than was previously expected (meaning more planets are out there than we used to think possible).

Well, the universe is constantly expanding, and they're discovering more and more exoplanets... is that what you mean?

One star (Gliese 581) is seriously close (about twenty light-years away), and has at LEAST three planets orbiting it! Two are even in the habitable zone, although the closer of the two would probably have a runaway greenhouse effect like Venus and probably wouldn't be inhabited. The further one, though...

Although there is no proof that universe is expanding, scientist believe that universe is still expanding, new solar systems are formed, and the limit of the sky will never be reached.

Solar system is consist of a star and the planets surrounding it. In one galaxy there is million of stars, so, the possibilty of expanding with other solar system is big.

No, the universe can not expand. It signed a lease for a certain amount of 'space.' It will have to wait until that lease is up before it can negotiate for more room.

What are you talking about?

BTW, There is only 1 Solar System in the universe. "Solar" is the name of our planetary system. There can't be 'other' solar systems.

As our knowledge expands, we find more
objects. Our 'eyes` are getting better.
There is no evidence for the creation of
new matter.
