my dalmation has destroied two this year.

My dog does the same thing and it cracks me up. Though I bet it wouldn't be as funny if she broke my vacuum like yours does.
It probably has something to do with the intrusive or "threatening" way we push the machine around their domain and the very loud obnoxious sound the vacuum makes as we use it.

I don't know but I have a friend who's dog does this and it's so funny. I had a dog once that would bite the lawnmower wheels when I mowed the yard. Then we had a puppy once that barked and attacked the toilet brush. Dogs are hilarious.

Dogs mess up carpets. Vacuums clean up carpets. They're natural enemies.

How funny why do dogs do that. I have a teacup chihuahua and he thinks that he can go at it with the vacuum

they are smart to hate the stupid back breaking things.Not that I would want your dog to do that,costly things dogs do sometimes:(
I have no idea why,except that the awful racket bothers them,mine are scared of vacuums.

I don't know where everyone else's dog's come from.......mine runs.......same with the cats!! I can be sure to clean out the room as soon as I turn it on!! LMAO!! Soooooooo true!!

I THINK DOGS ATTACK THE VACUM CLEANER BECAUSE THEY FIND IT AS A THREAT BECAUSE IT BLOWS AIR AND THEY WILL FIND THAT AT A THREAT
