"You are my sunshine" and because it's the song my mom would sing to me when I couldn't sleep as a little kid. Makes me happy, good memories with my mommy.

It's about the white invasion and slavery/annihilation of the Native Americans and that's what it means to me. It's still happening. The numbers are so few any more. It makes me think of the Sand Creek Massacre by cowardly Colonel Chivington.

I have several all meaning a special person or place or moment. Like My favorite singer Luis Fonsi {most of my favorite songs are from him} every time I hear him I get a rush of memories from the first time I heard the song it makes feel connect to my past , to my culture & to my first love. ^_^ Dareth

as of right now, it would have to be "almost lover" by a fine frenzy. it's somewhat sad and depressing. i didn't breakup or anything. i'm not even in a relationship. it just matches how i feel.
