Some did, but most of them were betrayed. When one does not have money to offer bribes any longer, many friends are lost. Rewards were put out there as well. Folk who wanted money strongly searched for and found many of those who thought that they escaped. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19.
Peace and God Bless.
