If this is the password on Windows NT*, Windows 2000n Windows XP or Windows Vista, read below.

If you are referring to an ISP login or an E-Mail password website login, you will have to contact the appropriate System administrators.

ISP - You are paying for the service. There should be a contact number to their Help Desk. they will likely ask you some questions to identify that you are the subscriber. they can reset the password.

E-Mail - If it is part of your ISP service, same as ISP.

E-Mail such as Yahoo or Hotmail - You will have to contact them and prove you are the owner of the account to have the password reset.

Website login - You will have to contact them and prove you are the owner of the account to have the password reset. they will likely send it to you via E-Mal and there will be a return link which you will have to click on to confirm you request your password to be reset. The E-Mail address wil be the one that the Web account was setup with,

There are maintenance software packages available for this purpose. They are quite costly.

You could take it to a computer Tech and have them reset the password.
