Mostly we are concerned about delay in information. If you double your CPU speed (Processor Frequency) you can double your performance. More over connect your PCs on wired LAN to improve performance.

Connect to broad band Internet (BSNL/Airtel).

When you use a Wireless modem with your computers, your internet bandwidth is shared among those. Your max speed is limited by the Connection Purchase plan with your ISP provider. If you want to raise your band-width then Talk to them, they will help you in choosing a better one ;)
That said and done. I think someone has fooled you into believing this, but its not the case. The data transfered for a Full-screen video and for a Small Screen ones remains the same. There is not need for Doubling your bandwidth based on the Size of the Screen,Damn Samsung 56" monitors will need to be on Satellite connections , if you want to watch a show on that one !!
Think about it.
Best way to avoid this is shut down the internet connection on the 2nd Computer and dont use high download activity on that one. Use only one for maximum bandwidth usage to get the Video Downloads.Try this, If it doesnt work try a different player. Mostly all players can play all types of common files these days. So using a Player like google player, real player, Windows Media Player etc may make difference on how they get the data. Some use buffers (basically pre-fetching data)..so you have a non-stop viewing.
Hope this solves your Potential Problems and Doubts.

Good Luck and Enjoy watching the show.

Your bandwidth refers to the speed of your internet connection. If your bandwidth is lower than 400 kbps, you should let the video buffer for a bit, then play it. The time you should let it buffer depends on your internet connection. Assuming constant bandwidth, a simple system of linear equations will help you determine the minimum time you should let it buffer for a smooth video playback.

Edit: Also, what John said below is very true as well.

wireless is often slower than Hardwired systems.

You have a Wireless Router connected to your modem.

You Wireless router should be password protected so you have to log into it to access the Internet.

This will prevent anyone else from using your signal.

The more computers connected to a wireless router - the slower it will be.

Try Downloading it to your Had Drive, then watch it from the Hard Drive.

Good Luck
