if the furniture company damaged one piece of the 3 piece-sofa while bringing to the house and after promising to replace it in 2 days but it has been already 4 months and now when I'm sewing them how much should i put the amount of money they owe me ?

Should i put the money only for that one piece or the hall furniture since the total was $2300 including 2 other small tables.

And what kind of problems should i write that it caused me?

also do u think the judge will be no my side?

Thanks for your time!!

You are probably going to be suing in small claims court -- given the amount of the damage.

Just ask for what it would cost to repair or replace the one piece of furniture that was damaged -- and make sure you have all the documentations (bills of sale, shipping invoices, pictures of the damage, letters to the company, etc.)

Try to sue for the total cost ($2,300). This will make them to admit the 1 piece only fault. The judge will then award you the 1 piece replacement damages. (Always sue for as much as you can; this way there is a chance to get more than your set limits)

I think you cant sue for replacement cost. I think you can sue for the value of the furniture at the time it was damaged and for attorney costs. I wonder if your moving company has insurance. Most likely they will settle with you.. Good luck

You can only sue for the cost of the piece that was broken, not for the other two pieces if they are still in your possession, undamaged by the movers. The judge should side with you if you're able to prove that the movers damaged the item and failed to compensate or replace it.

what is your problem?

If you want to " sew " them you will probably end up in jail.
But just so you know; to sew someone all you need is a needle and thread.

Before you SUE them you idiot, you need to write them a letter (you might want to get somone else to do this since you can't spell and sound like an idiot) and make your complaint in writing, keep copies of it all and a record of it being posted.
You need to write that you will give them 14 days to reply saying how they are going to handle your complaint.

Then you take that evidence to court if need be.

You should have checked their policy on this beforehand, like the other poster said they should have insurance to cover it
