All of the above, depending on the situation. Some of the really good artists that I know have an arrogance that stems from knowing or believing that their work is excellent and that others are drawn to them for that reason. But their arrogance does not affect others in a negative way, unless you were in competition with them. It is hard to explain. It is not conceit, but a sort of faith that they can do amazing things.
