Was there ever an episode where Sakura captures the Dream card, or did they just skip over that one like they did some of the other ones? Please help!

Yes, she captured dream in episode 40 (going by the original Jananese airing). The title of the episode was Sakura and the Sakura in the Dream, or Dream a Little Dream for the american dub version. However, the american dub version was never aired on tv, and I am not certain if it was ever released on dvd. You only may be able to watch it with subtitles, if that matters to you.

From what I recall few years ago:
Sakura captured the dream card when she went on an outing with her friends. The Dream Card is in a Butterfly form. Upon encountering The Dream, she unconsciously fell into a lucid-dream state and tripped on the Butterfly.
If I'm not mistaken, she captured the Dream Card in the elevator, when Shaoran is stopping the real world time with his Time Clow Card to wait for Sakura returned to conscious state. That moment of the capture is somewhere near the ending of it.
