Don't you hate it when you go to the store to buy something you usually buy only to find out that it was on sale and sold out?? Its so annoying. I'm pretty much obsessed with the instant cream of wheat (the single serve packets). Lately I've been eating that all the time. So, I went to the store to buy some more today and they were on sale and completely sold out when usually the shelf is full. I didn't care that they were on sale, I just wanted my friggen cream of wheat and I instantly started thinking about all the lazy greedy people that stocked their carts full of MY cream of wheat b/c it was on sale even though they don't really like it that much. lol. Even though I know that didn't really happen.

Have you ever experienced this? And isn't it frustrating??

Let me tell you, it seems like every time I really want something I have to fight tooth and nail to get it. For example, I wanted the new Venus razor..it was sold out so I decided to get a Schick Quattro..guess what? It was sold out at a different store. This has been happening to me with numerous things. Today, I wanted KFC..I go to get my food..no plastic ware..I had to go back inside to get the plastic ware to eat my friggin food!

Are you still reading/watching movies/playing plot-heavy video games/stuff like that? I find when I don't have enough ideas coming out of my head, I'm not putting enough in. I don't think you can force a plot, but if you have a character, just think about them for awhile. The plot usually comes from the characters anyway, so after a while, you'll know what certain characters do and the plot will come. Make sure you're getting enough sleep. When you're asleep your brain puts ideas and facts in place, and things get clearer. Hence the phrase, "sleep on it". If you're not sleeping enough, you're not giving your brain time to "get ideas". Do something else for awhile, take a break from writing, then come back when you have an idea. Lots of writing isn't physically writing, but thinking about your world.
