My child's doctor said no juice at all. He told us there's no nutritional value in it. Even 100% juice or kids' juice is mostly sugar water. My child drinks whole milk and water. She's almost 15 months.

How old is your baby? Unless he is on solids, there is no need for anything else than the formula.

Once solids are started, water is the best way to go. Juice is mostly sugar and does not deliver anything that the baby will not be getting in formula. What this will actually do is fill baby up on empty calories so he/she will not get all he/she needs from formula.

If you absolutely insist on juice, wait until 6-9 months. At this point the juice is just a delivery system for the water the baby needs to have while eating solids. Make sure it is diluted and should not exceed more than 4-6 oz a day.

I have posted a link about introducing juice.

All my best

Many pediatricians would say never. Juice contributes to early tooth decay which is now much worse than 20 years ago. Wait until the child is old enough to have whole or cut up fruit instead.

My advice is to refrain from giving your child juice for as long a possible as once they get the taste of it it is a battle to get them to drink water by itself. This will go on right through their childhood. I made the same mistake and now my son still refuses water without juice and he is 3 and a half. Juice also causes tooth decay. But if you insist on giving your child juice then from 6 months on is ok.

Never. Juice has little to no nutritional value, its just unnecessary sugars. Baby needs only breast milk/formula for the first 12 months, after that you can begin to introduce water.

wait until 10 - 12 months
Nature has designed it so that babies need only breat milk or formula. If you have a baby ready for finger food or soft cereal go for it.
But the fist year the babies digetsion system can be fragile and a gasy baby isn't fun.

as babies just need formula and water, i will say 1 year old is the time

babies dont need flavour, they have to get used to good food rather than nice sweet food

but anyway, i start gave my baby flavour, including juice when he was 7 or 8 mo

There is overwhelming evidence that too many sweets in the first 18 months of life can cause a much higher risk of heart disease and diabetes later in life.
