Ok so I was wondering what you guys think who would win if they met this year. I am a Pistons Fan so what I am saying is not a biased suns' fan comment but I truly belive Game 3 and the ending of Game 4 (suspensions) really hurt the suns and they would have otherise won. This year I really, really believe that the Suns will win if they face the Spurs again and I belive Nash will be in the league for at least until 2010. With a more calm Amare and improved Barbosa. More depth in the bench with Grant Hill, a STEAL in the draft by getting Alondo Tucker. Alondo Tucker is a huge steal in the draft 29th pick overall by the suns. Man these guys will give my pistons a run for the championship but at least the Spurs will not advance again. I really believe that for once and for all, all those ignorant Spurs fans will be STFU.

First of all the only name-calling I did was ignorant, and right now I will tell you now. A lot of spurs fan are ignorant, I hate it when they say that the spurs whooped the suns, when they clearly did not, the suns almost came back from a 20 point deficit and were only losing by 5 in the game that Amare and Diaw did not play. Also your argument about the Suns loosing game 6. If they were full they would have won game 5, but they were not full. If the officiating was fair in game 3 they would have put up a fight for that game. Amare got slashed across the whole arm by Duncan and it was called a foul? I tell you what, no team has beaten the spurs on their homecourt in a long time. The suns did it on the 2nd game of the series. Watch out for the suns, when they win Amare will come out and probably say a quote like "Thats what happens to a dirty team" and I will respect him for that. Go AMARE, dunk all over Duncan. DJ Strawberry will be a huge help on defense. Spurs will be shitting.

Im not even a suns fan but i can admit that team is awesome. Real team work fast speed and accuracy..

I think because of this whole reff scandal its easier to say the spurs shouldnt have won 2007 and that it probably belonged to the suns. During that same game when the suns received the suspensions tim duncan had gotten off the bench and actually had one whole foot on the basketball court earlier in the game..... and they suspended the suns players for getting up they didnt even get to the basketball court....

Now that the world will keep a closer eye on the refs the spurs have no chance of beating the suns unless they try to kill steve nash again by giving him more "Hard Fouls"

The spurs are a good team because they have players that execute plays correctly and play well as a team.
But the suns have talent. they can change things on the go not just go play by play. not that theres anything wrong with that.
But when two equal teams face off... the more creative team will always win.Given theres no cheating involved.

2007 belonged to the suns... ( I am not a suns fan but I know who should have won the championship)

2008 will probably go to the suns if their team is healthy.

Well, I'm a long time Suns fan so what I'm saying is a biased Suns fan comment. After such a great season it was disappointing to see the season end. But it wasn't a surprise. Everybody and the monkey in the zoo picked the Spurs to win the series. The shot by Horry and the suspensions are just smoke and mirrors. The Spurs are the better team. They're built for the playoffs and the Suns are built for the regular season. The Spurs have the 2nd best defense in the league and the Suns have the 15th best. Guess which matters most in the playoffs? I've supported and spent a lot of money on the Suns over the years and will continue to do so. Shawn Marion is my favorite player and Dennis Johnson is my all time favorite Suns player. They're a fun team but they're not a tough team. Knowing that and accepting that is crucial to one's sanity.

The Suns are my favorite team. They're even ahead of my home team Detroit. I agree the Suns had a good shot of winning, but David Stern must have some sort of invested interest in the Spurs for ejecting Amare and Diaw for simply stepping on the court. Horry hacks the Suns best player and the team that gets punished is the Suns. What the heck is that? If you watch tape there were Spurs players on the court too. I'm not worried about referees fixing games; I'm worried about Stern himself. I hope the Suns can pull it off, but I think they need a talented big man to guard Nowitzki and Duncan. They got rid of Thomas and that was their best defensive big man. Without a big man, which they don't have yet, I fear they'll come up short. I don't think Hill will do much. I think he'll only be slightly better then Jalen Rose was and that wasn't much.

People forget that the Spurs didn't have Horry's shooting or defense for either games 3 or 4. And the Suns had their chance in game 4, when they were at full strength with Amare & Diaw while Horry was still suspended but couldn't get it done (big surprise).

The Spurs are too experienced, too smart and too good- that's why they have 4 titles. Ginobili and Parker are money in big games, Bowen is a defensive monster and Horry is just Mr. "BIG SHOT"

Duncan is one player the Suns have no answer for. But then again, no one in the league has an answer for Duncan. He's the big fundamental. Not pretty, just the best big man in the game.

Go Spurs Go!!

what's all this communicate approximately stealing a sequence...a crew has to earn what they get, be it on domicile courtroom, or enjoying on the line. there is not any such factor as "stealing" a win. in basic terms given which you're at your domicile of abode courtroom your a fool to think of that a win is yours. for this reason you won't be able to scouse borrow a win or a sequence from somebody. in accordance with "the rule" that have been given the gamers suspended final year; Commissioner Stern did not make that rule. this is a rule that became into made with the aid of the vendors and/or their special representitives. the rule has been on the NBA books for countless years, and the Commish has had to point suspensions against gamers many situations in the process the previous few years in step with this comparable rule. At no time did all and sundry say that this rule became into unjust then. purely whilst the Suns felt that the loss of their 2 gamers would harm their possibilities of prevailing a playoff sequence (that the Suns in no way had a sequence lead) did all and sundry whinge with regard to the rule. This feels like a case of bitter grapes to me. Now to respond to your bitter hearted question: Spurs in 6...Suns would desire to get some extra advantageous protection. If the Suns do be able to tug it out then Spurs followers will in basic terms would desire to deal with it, yet we in basic terms isn't crying approximately being cheated.

Suns can make it. they have the players- Amare, Marion, Nash(though he's aged), Strawberry(got potential), Bell, Barbosa,Kurt Thomas, Diaw, Grant Hill
Almost all their players are valuable, so given a good chance without cheap shots or foul game, they'll sweep the season like a hurricane and Spurs are gonna cry like hell.

Pathetic question - you are lucky we cannot rate the questions like we rate the answers. You want to have an intelligent discussion, fine, but name calling just shows your lack of sincerity and intelligence. People that call names just realize their logic and arguments are weak. The Spurs may or may not win - but they will always have more class than people that just call names. Good luck.
