Cora, that sounds fun. Strange thing i can never get a legal question answered here or at the courthouse. I can get some good gossip and recipes though.

LOL Gee, what a shock that you were attacked! Damn, soper - try yoga. Seriously. It'll help.
Some people come on here for some sincere debate - I've found a few people who I disagree with completely, but I respect their right to be wrong. (KIDDING! Take a pill)
I work with virtually nothing but liberals. Some I really like and respect, some I tolerate, and some I merely endure. Just like the conservatives I know. People are people - you'll have good and bad in every group.
I admit, I can be as snarky and hateful as just about anyone else on here (I have to qualify that with "just about" because some of you people are just f*ing NUTS) but I far prefer a good natured debate over mud-slinging and name calling.

I "waste" my time here for two reasons.
First, because I enjoy debating issues, and because I like expressing opinions -- and if I can open up someone's mind to another perspective and provide useful information, that's a win-win on both sides.
Second, most of my time is spend answering legal and govt-related questions by providing the facts and the law, and allowing people to make up their own minds. And while it may objectively be a waste of time if people aren't open to considering all aspects of an issue, I still feel like I'm doing some good -- that' that's worth my time.

I can see you have waisted many hours here. I would like to think that all your answers where as intellectual as this question. I thumbs down a person when their answer is just plain stupid. It gives me the satisfaction of saying "Your Stupid".
So
WTH is wrong with you.
Ask an off the wall question. It will amuse us all to respond in an off the wall manner.
Hope you feel better Tomorrow.

In short...Yes.
Personally some of the insults are hilarious, even some directed at me. Nothing gets accomplished here except drive by one liners and insults. But, its fun sometimes.
