Why are we on this planet? Do we as humans have a purpose or not? If so, what is that purpose?

The word, "purpose", implies an intelligence. So your question, by definition, requires God.

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (noted 20th century philosopher, mathematician and Nobel Laureate)

If God exists, He must have put our need for purpose into our human nature in order to point us to seek Him. Therefore, seeking God and coming to know God is everyones purpose.

The answer "To live- to surive..." refers to evolution. But evolution is a mindless natural process that doesn't care one tiny bit if you live or not any more than a rainstorm cares whether you get wet or not.

If we reject God, then the best we can do is to try not to think about our purposeless, pointless, meaningless existence. We can:
*Keep busy so we won't have time to think.
*Focus on small trivial events which hold happy feelings.
*Do some good deed so we can imagine ourselves being praised because praise inflates our ego.
*Keep deceiving myself I don't need a purpose for living

But rather than try to deceive myself, I'm going to seek God even though I don't know for sure whether He exists or not.

I have no idea what the purpose of life is for myself or for humans. All we can do is just live, even though we have no real known purpose. If I had to make a complete guess, it would be for our souls to grow spiritually. I don't really know all the details, but I think the main purpose is centered around something that has to do with our souls, although i don't believe in reincarnation, i think our soul just has one life to live.

Most likely science is right and we're here because of a big cosmic accident.

Same goes for everything else actually.
But it's not bad, it means we have control on our life.

Some would say God created us and has something for us but I think that's just wishful thinking and sad excuses for why are we are.

We're really here to create our own destiny, goals and life.
We are not here to die or to do anything specific.

To live- to surive- yet I believe to survive with humility and honor. Not to push others over- yet history has showed us that sometimes that cannot be true. To live and to devote your time to something- maybe your family- or even the rest of the world.
To live and to learn- I think people have a natural tendency to observe the world- yet then they sometimes end up altering it.
