That is kind of a defeatest attitude.
You can't be certain you are going to lose somebody if you get closer.
You can't be certain that you are going to keep sombody if you get closer either.
All you can be certain of is that you like this person, you like their company, and you want to know as much about them as is humanly possible.
You could lose somebody by not geting closer.
They could die tomorrow, or find someone else, or whatever, but; they will be gone and all you have for not getting closer is the empty feeling of knowing you never got hurt by the experience.
To be serious, we are mortal beings. We are destined to lose one another. There is no risk in getting closer. There is only risk in not getting closer.
You can't lose what you never possessed.

If I have to be Closer with God, Master , at the risk of loosing the girlfriend, wife . it would be worth it.. but before that I will try to explain them that it is worth journey to travel together . if still they fail to cooperate I Will travel along To Be Closer...
