I wouldn't see why not. After all, it's not like you really need to have people's interests at heart when recommending investments. Sure, there may be some financial advisors out there who really do know their stuff, but it's equally true that there are a number who just sell what they're told to sell, and as long as they're certified or whatever, they're cool, at least in the eyes of the law. This is probably even more the case in the 25+ years since voodoo deregulation was reintroduced by the senile mascot of the new breed of robber barons.

I am guessing no, so you might want to look up some strategies which will help you improve it. You can find some info for free on google and such. There are also "credit repair" firms out there that can turn things around like night and day, but they do cost. You'll have to analyse the benefits benefits of such an investment.

Not unless you've honestly learned your lesson and you are a master at paying all of your bills on time AND saving money in all the smart places:) Actually if you are doing that, you would probably be a great financial adviser! Live and learn, right? Nothing is impossible...

It probably depends on the broker/dealer or financial institution you want to work for.
When I started in banking and got my securities licenses, I had very poor credit and it did not affect my ability to get licensed.

anyone can become a financial adviser.. it doesn't matter what your credit rating is.. what matters is how you sell yourself.. if you truely a good financial adviser then you will be successful, if not, then you won't.. your credit has nothing to do with it..
