I've been shaving for about four years now, since I was 12, and I still haven't gotten that perfect shave, one without any cuts, and getting all the hair, and just being all nice and smooth. I use a Gillette Fusion with Edge Advance Shave Cream. Do you have any tips on shaving?

This is the method my husband uses: http://www.ehow.com/how_2116_shave-face.html
He has thick beard hairs & must shave daily after a shower so his beard is softer. He prefers to use Gillette Sensor Excel & Neutrogena"s shave gel or cream.
Change your blades every 5 shaves or so.

Hey man, you use the same thing I use, Gillette Fusions and Edge Advance Shaving Cream. The trick is to shave twice. The first time with the grain and after you are done, re shave against the grain and your shave will get as perfect as it can.

I'm 17, and I've been shaving for awhile, and I don't get any cuts... this is how u do it.... DON'T JUST PUT SHAVING CREAM ON YOUR HEAD & AND SHAVE, AND TAKE A SHOWER... first, wet your head until it is moist... then put shaving cream on (NOT ALL OVER YOUR HEAD, JUST THE PART WHERE YOU'RE GOING TO START SHAVING: because shaving cream does dry)... then you shave in the direction your hair is going... you shave down, don't shave up... DOWN FIRST.... Once you shaved every part of your head, then you can shave upwards (IF YOU WANT YOUR HEAD REAL SMOOTH: And If You Want Girls To Feel The Smoothness)... Simple As That... I DON'T GET ANY CUTS...

You started to shave since 12? Wow, kids sure grow fast these days. Anyway, if you still get cuts with shaving cream, then maybe you are pressing the blade against your face too hard. Do it gently, man.

Try the Venus shave thing. I saw the models use it on the show 'Americas next top model' and they had this lotion cream, so there is no cuts, and it's really smooth, because of the lotion, and the blade.

no, I only started shaving half a year ago. Try asking your dad. Dads always help on that bit.

ALWAYS SHAVE DOWNWARDS. never upwards! that causes razor burn, also try after shaving cream.

Best solution pick the hair yourself using finger, is hurt like crap. But it will stay longest before hair pop up again.
