Look at the statistics for environmental damage and loss of life for nuclear accidents compared to other industries.

For example, one analysis I saw estimated that it would require at least one full meltdown per month every month to do the same damage that happens every month in the coal industry.

Look at costs of startup versus maintenance. There are enough plants in operation to provide useful numbers.

Look at the facts and common myths for radiation. For example, the average US-built nuclear plant puts out the same radiation (at the same distance) as an old-style big-screen computer monitor.

Look at disposal issues. For example, according to one study, expended nuclear fuel has roughly the same radioactivity as unprocessed uranium -- meaning burying the waste where the original fuel was dug up is no more harmful than leaving the fuel buried there.

Also, consider the long term options for switching to fusion-baed technology --- which has no waste issues, and uses water as a fuel -- but would be 10~30 years off after we start relying on nuclear power generation.

I work at a coal fired power plant and I do believe that Nuke Plants should be explored more.........Fossil Fuel is not the future, renewable are.........

It is getting harder all the time to meet the EPA standards with these old outdated coal fired boilers........The parameters for violations are getting harder to stay with in for CO,CO2,NOX,Opacity........

i do no longer understand if that's what it says interior the Quran..yet.. the Earth orbits around the solar and Earth's moon orbits around Earth. however, theoretically, the Earth and its moon do orbit one yet another. Eh...the wording of the 1st section is somewhat complicated. The solar does orbit interior the Milky way. The Earth's moon does orbit the Earth. so which you may say that definite, they do flow in a direction.
