I am 21 weeks Pregnant and I have been bleeding on and off for my whole pregnancy. I have gotten a few ultrasounds and blood test and doctors say, "everything is fine" But lately I have found that every time i get bleeding is when I feel lots of pressure in my lower stomach as if the baby is pushing down and I get internal sharp pains. When I looked in the water of the toilet, the blood looks "grainy" kinda like sand (not slimy nor blood clots) and is red or brownish. can anyone identify this? this is my 3rd pregnancy and The pressure I feel, I have only felt at around 8 or 9 months of pregnancy with my daughters.

Call your doctor and go to the ER. Don't ask questions like these on Yahoo... Time is precious when it comes to pregnacy and pre term labor issues!

I sure hope you are not going into preterm labor hon, I would collect a sample of your urine and make a trip to the ER - your baby is most important, and Im sorry to say - but at 21 weeks, there's not much of a chance for survival (I could be wrong, but I doubt there is)....Im not saying this to scare you or upset you even more, but if you want to keep this baby healthy you need to put your foot down, this doesn't sound normal to me - brownish/red grainy (like sand) looking urine?...honey please do go to the ER and explain to them what's going on....

Listen, I really think you're going to lose your baby. I had the same problum. I had pain and all that other stuff and I ended up losing my baby. Sure it was hard at first but I got over it and moved on and had another baby 2 years later.

I think you should go to the hospital you could be trying to start labor. If that is the case they can give you something to stop it.
