I have seen some people that have been on here for less time than me and they have three times as many points and three times as many best answers. I am curious to their secret.

Just answer a ton of questions each and every day.

I'm not saying that everyone does the following. I realize that there are people who simply answer an awful lot of questions and whose answers are frequently chosen as best. But the following is what I think many people do:
----Tell their friends and/or contacts to vote their answers as best in exchange for them doing the same.
----Create and use multiple accounts to do the following:
--Use each account to vote their answer as best when a question goes into voting. (No kidding... When you see fifty votes for an answer that doesn't include anything more than "SHUT UP TROLL," I think there's a pretty good chance that the user is using one or both of the above methods.)
--Use each account to ask questions, answer each question with their main account, and then choose their own answers as best.
--Use each account to give their answers thumbs up once they receive best answer. (We're awarded one point each time our best answers receive a thumbs up.)
I don't understand why some people are so obsessed with points and levels.

Some people have more than 1 account, just a lot more than 1. They use all these accounts to ask questions and then with their main account to answer those questions and pick their answer as the best.
But there are some who really answer a lot of questions

I have wondered the same thing, I have been trying to get to level five for months. I guess I have to start answering every question from now on. I am going to take a wild guess and say that they stay on here all day and answer questions.

I wish I knew the answer to that as well. The only way I can figure is they are on here all the time or have their friends select them for best answers.
