I'm not sayin that I am in love with TB. I'm just sayin that it's wrong when I order a Meximelt minus the meat, and get charged regular price, but a taco minus meat with extra cheese is regular price plus .35.
i know that fast food is bad , but when you are hungry and stuff, you do what you you have to do, right?
I also realize that it might only be 35 cents or whatever, but it is the point. I think they suck. I won't go back there.

Agreed!
My ex-gf always ordered tacos with no meat add beans and it was 25 cents extra per taco.
WTF??

Yeah, that makes me mad too. I get the Zesty Chicken Bowl with no Beans, extra Rice (to replace the Beans) and they always charge me 30 cents more. What a rip off. And then half the time the forget the sauce. Call the 800 number and complain. Usually the store manager will call you and give you free food.

I agree with you 100% unfair. I believe they are greedy.
Like was said by another, there are restaurants that know how to make excellent Mexican food and are fair in charging only what you eat.
But you know, it could be worse. In Germany at Mc Donalds they make you pay extra for mayonnaise and ketchup and give you a weird look when you ask them for ice in your coke - and yes - you have to ask them for the ice, if not, you will automatically only get coke. Oh, and no refills - pay all extra!
Now, don't you think that is a bit worse?
God bless you.

By the way - good question!

After eating real Mexican food; or going to some restaurant where they really know how to cook it, even making it yourself from ingredients you can buy cheaper in the supermarket; Rosarita refrieds, etc, any trip to Taco Bell is like dog food in comparison.

I always get them to substitute extra rice or beans for the meat I don't want.

Because they are in a habit of doing it one way. It probably takes them several attempts to get the order correct.
