9/11 and the government?

Im just going to get to the point.........


Lately my friends have been watching conspiracy tapes in which reveal that the US government was behind all the attacks taken place on Sept. 11th. Thus, for an obvious reason for America's benefits for more money, war, oil? You've probably seen or/and heard of these theories and Im interested in your opinions. Personally, I believe that the attacks taken place on 9/11 were strictly beyond America's control and completely related to terrorist groups. Though regardless of the thorough information presented in these films makes these theories seem plausible.

Are my friends just believing everything on these tapes? Or were we all just fooled?
Honestly, I'm scared shitless of this.
Maybe I'm in denial?
Was it an inside job?

There's no possible way this could have been a conspiracy. Too many people would have to be involved.
Large building could take up to 3 months to demolish in a controlled manner.

I looked at those tapes too, and the makers certainly do have the strength of their conviction. But honestly, think about how many people it would take to pull this off. Do you really think you could keep them all silent.
Conspiracy theorists have been around a long time. They have chimed in on the Kennedy assasination, Pearl Harbour , the moon landings and other things. I think it is a good thing to have people always asking questions. It is the best way to keep the Gov. honest.
For me the jury is still out on the governments involvement in 9/11. I think history will play out with many lingering questions and very few answers.
But the implosion of 3 buildings and the crashing of 4 jets would take many people to accomplish. I just don't see how it could be done. But if it was, someone will crack and tell the world how the government was involved in 9/11. I just wouldn't hold my breath for it.

The capability is there, there are many unanswered questions, there is definitely motive, there is history of such things being planned in the past, for similar motives, the official story does not hold even a drop of water, if you take the time to really think about it, and consider the questions that are are still being asked, and not answered. If you look into things like Operation North woods, and the Reichstag fire, and other similar events. There are just so many things that don't add up. When I first heard this stuff, I was rather freaked out about it, too! Then I realized that it can only be scary if too many of the people stay asleep, and continue to swallow the BS that Fox News spews out daily. We have the numbers, and we can beat them as long as enough of us wake up in time. They want us to stay asleep, because they can no longer control us if we wake up in great enough numbers. Yes, I do believe it was an inside job. *sm*

No, it's been proven satisfactorily to many of us that practioners of a radical sect of Islam planned and executed the attacks. The correct question is: Was the US govenment complicit in the attacks of 9/11/01? The answer is, unfortunately, yes. Regardless of whatever conspiracy theorists may claim, the facts that the potential for the attacks was ignored by two administrations (Clinton and Bush 43) still paint a dim picture of our political leaders. For those who are willing and able to overcome political blindness, it is clear that both President Clinton and President Bush failed to confront and negate the masterminds of the attack. Hindsight is of course 20/20.

Here's the straight scoop. The people behind the 911 conspiracies are either America-haters (think Micheal Moore) or total lunatics. Mostly it is uneducated people who believe the crap, people who know NOTHING about science. Keep in mind there are kooks who believe the moon landings never happened and were faked, that Elvis is alive, that the government has dead aliens frozen in a freezer in New Mexico, and that JFK was killed by the mafia. In fact, one of the wackos that believes the JFK conspiracy also is a "founder" of the 911 BS.

There was some excellent research done on this by EXPERTS by Popular Mechanics Magazine. The people they talked to were REAL scientists, not people with degrees in philosophy etc., LOL! Don't let a bunch of trolls sitting in a dark basement blasting out crap on the internet scare you. Again, these are very uneducated people who are just seeking attention. Go to your college's school of engineering and ask the professors there what they think of the stupid 911 theories. They will laugh you out of the office!!!! Really, you don't even have to know science at all but just have COMMON SENSE. How come the NY Times isn't on the story? How come none of the TV news will say the footage they showed of the planes hitting the towers is fake? Are they in on it too? What about all the people on Flight 93 who said their loved one called them from the plane? They lying about it and in on it too? This is absolutely INSANE! The people behind it all is the Hate-America crowd, the far wacko fringe.

I'm not ruling out that it was an inside job, in fact I don't trust the bush government. There is so much evidence towards these theories.. yet not one has been proven wrong. A world renowned scientist Lyn Margulis PhD, is criticizing it as fraud and wants another investigation to be undertaken. 70 million americans distrust the official story. (thats not including the rest of the world.. and trust me - there are a whole lot more of us out there!) The government controls the media so much - people should be open minded about this. The US government, CIA... I don't trust them one bit.... I really don't and yes it is scary.... Also, what caused the collapse of the third tower? That no one knew about... Explosives? like the other two towers????

Conspiracy theorists are those guys are the outcast's of society, they never made cool friends in school or played sports, and though out live they kind of formed there own merry band of losers, to get attention. what ever it was, it was definitely more than what it at first appeared.

my first thought that morning was 'we are at war.' my second thought that morning, 'this is a lie.' 911 is a lie. no, geo bush didn't guide no airliner into nyc. and i don't know if there were bombs in the building or not, but you don't really see things fall like that. and building seven is a question. and where were the wings on the plane that hit the pentagon? where was any of the debris? and what happened to flight 93? where was the airforce?

why didn't american intelligence follow up on information provided by intelligence services of five different nations? the message from french intelligence "they are on their way." pictures of the suspects. registered airline tickets, passports, and visas. those guys didn't sneak in. people knew ahead of time.

how much participation happened by whom is forever debateable. we'll probably never know. but there is certainly reason to suspect certain 'factions' of some degree of complicity. it's a good question and i'll grant a rare star. but not a question that can be answered here.

i take comfort in fearing the worst; then i'm seldom let down.

Most of the conspiracies claim hundreds of people were in on this "inside job." If this were the case, don't you think that someone would have leaked the story to the media, or the media would have gotten a hold of this themselves? After all, the media has a very liberal bias.

We live in the age of digital video electronics. You saw Jurassic Park? Do you believe there is an island in some remote location with dinosaurs on it? Of course not. These 9/11 tapes you mention in your question are every bit as fictional - and worse, they are deceptive and God only knows what their agenda or intent is.
Loosechange, for instance, has had numerous edits and rewrites - mostly to remove material that was debunked so badly that the film was loosing credibility even among their most zealot followers. True journalism or real documentaries are not produced by rewriting the script and introducing a new version every time someone produces valid and verifiable facts which disputes the evidence presented in the film.
For over 25 years the Islamic militants have terrorized and murdered Americans around the globe with pretty much impunity (Surely, no one has connected all of these attacks to some kind of Bush or previous President's conspiracy) and it should come as no great surprise to anyone that all of these unanswered attacks finally culminated in the events of 9/11.
It is not you, but rather your friends who are in denial - denial of the valid and absolute truth.
