getting the run around from homedepot which is nothing unusual ..I want to sue them for a botched installed flooring job. Any helpful suggestions appreciated . So mad! thanks!

Just go to the small claims court in the town where the HD is you had the contract with .
Show up with ALL your documentation and pray the judge sees it your way .
You never can tell , but the filing fees are cheap .

If they won't respond to anything else, then, sure take them to small claims court in your area - which you don't mention. It's possible the amount in controversy, which you also don't mention, will exceed the jurisdictional limits of the relevant small claims court, so double check that before filing anything.
Then, you just show up and tell your side. If HD doesnt show up, you may very well win on that basis; if they do, just stay come, bring all your docs/pics, tell your side, and let the judge sort it out.

tell them to come and fix it. All of their work should be guaranteed for a least a year.
