I live in the seattle area but I've never seen drive-thru at any subway.

Isn't waiting in the car better than standing? People can turn off the engine to save gas while waiting if that's a problem. Why don't they have drive-thru like every McDonald's?

The place that i live in has a drive-thru at every single restaurant in the town and i really like that because then i have a choice and that is a good thing instead of a bad thing and a drive-thru is faster than going inside on any day here i do not now about where you live but i alway ant to just go thru the drive-thru and i get angry when i have to waste time going inside inless i am with family or friends that i would want to talk to.

I work at a subway and we have a drive thru but that's in OR. We still have to make the sandwiches while you wait in the car. So it's almost the same thing.

I eat subway all the time and from all the ones I've eating at only ONE had a drive-thru. I think they don't have that many because it would be kind of difficult to order, and it probably makes a job at subway a little complicated.

I'm not sure, but that's a good question. Just about every other fast food restaurant has a drive-thru; so I guess that they're trying to be different. Quiznos doesn't have a drive-thru either.

I've seen a few, but people are SO picky about thier sandwiches, its crazy. I would imagine it would make the employees crazy too. Just working in a non-drive thru place, makes me wanna throw sandwiches at people.

When you sit in the Drive-Thru, you are burning gasoline that could be used to otherwise take you forward. Moreover, you are sitting behind, and in front of, other people blowing exhaust in your direction. Is it really worth it, not to just find a parking spot, get out stretch, and walk in?

I thnk they dont have a drive thru because their whole concept is for you to see the ingredients and the options for your sub. Cant do that from the car

One of the biggest draws about subway is that you can see them make your sandwich. I bet you'd be pissed if you got a sub with the wrong toppings or a curly hair.

That sounds like a logistic nightmare, with the individual nature of each sandwich. Just a thought.
