Does it truly satisfy, or is it an empty victory?

It's not my bag... I figure there's no point making myself more upset than I already am. If a person wants to hang on to negative emotions, plotting revenge is often then best way to do so.

Learning and moving on is my (well worn) motto! Let karma take care of the rest.

It truly satisfies and then later, it is an empty victory.

When your young I think satisfying but when you get older you realize it's a waste of energy and you've lowered yourself to their level so it would be an empty victory.

Empty victory.

I like the wisdom that comes with getting older. If someone does something negative to me, I'm usually able to just let it go. There's no need for me to return bad with bad -- besides, I'm a firm believer that karma deals with nasty people quite effectively, so I guess I take a sort of perverse satisfaction in that.

Revenge is truly satisfying for me, then I feel guilty. I try to refrain from avenging anything....(I can be one evil woman)

complicated answer. It does not always work. But...it is important to make people who do wrong suffer the consequences---if a person screws someone over, and gets away with it, they will go on to screw over other people, and this is not good.
Revenge---requires careful planning, and can be lots of fun. The key is to send a message and teach a lesson---if one can do these things, it is really cool.

That depends. Is it a matter of honor that you are seeking revenge for? Or is it a trivial matter?

Duels of honor are a practical and much needed thing (I wish they'd bring back dueling with swords)

But anything else, let karma take care of it.
