You put always something on 100% in this case it will be $231.9O then $231.90 will be 100% and $64.93 will be x% and you do ratio or proportion: X will be ekwell 64.93 multiply on 100 and divide on 231.93 after that $64.93 will be about 27.7% of $231.90.

stop trying to get people to do your homework. FYI formula for percents: is over of=percent over 100. so for this problem you have 64.93 over 231.90=x over 100. cross multiply and solve for x.
