YOU can't motivate someone else!!! People have to motivate themselves.
Your job as a leader is to find out WHAT motivates them, and then provide that environment for them!! Provide them the tools and assistance to develop them!
Another excellent tool at your disposal is to always see things from their perspective, so if you need something done, you can point out the benefit to why doing that will be good for THEM, so they will WANT to do it.
