Liberal is a philosophy -- Democrat is a party.

And there are always people who are on the fringes, who are not mainstream, who do things the majority doesn't like -- pick any group anywhere and that's true.

The question is, do you intend to judge the entire group based on the actions of a handful of individuals, or on what 99+% of the rest of the group actually does?
