Bill Walton is the most annoyingest announcer in sports history! He says things that don't make sense and I'm sure his wife and kids are glad he's out of the house doing so many games because they probably can't stand him either! Just because you were a decent player doesn't mean you're that gifted as an announcer! Do us a favor and quit Bill quit now!

Walton is an idiot. He has made some of the most ridiculous comments about basketball that I have ever heard. Horrible commentater.
And by the way....he also has the most overrated NBA career in history! The guy had 2......2!......great years in the league. When he played with the Celtics in the 80's, he was horrid! He was a great passer for a big man....and thats about it. How this guy is on the all-time 50 list is beyond me. There have been about 20 centers that have had better careers than Walton.

Bill Walton was one of my favorite players in college and the NBA. But as an announcer I wish he would just shut up. I have muted games that he is announcing just to enjoy the game. Can you imagine him and Joe Theismann in the same booth?

I never noticed the contradictions, but the Big Redhead knows his ball, and as one of the most unselfish players in the all time top 50 he must have issues with all ballhogs, and Kobie does have questionable ethics to go along with his incredible skills

He doesn't exactly hate Kobe, but you could say he doesn't love the guy. Listen to him though, he does recognize and call Kobe a good player, so he doesn't necessarily hate him. But as for his commentating, I find him amusing and funny. He starts off talking about basketball, and then starts straying off to topics with no relations to basketball. At times though, I guess he does start to sound annoying.

Two words sums up my opinion of Mr Walton.
"Uh" and "oh"
listen to his call of the game between the Jazz and the Rockets when John Stockton won the game to send the Jazz to their first finals appearance.

I like Walton's commentating because he exaggerates everything, he's strongly opinionated and he's funny without trying to be for some of the reasons you mentioned.

I call it like I see it. Kobe forces bad shots and does
not play in the team concept. John Wooden needs
to teach Kobe how to play team basketball.
