I was told after it stings/bites you, it will die soon after. But it always seems like the same one flying around and stinging everyone.

As the Chinese say, "All those Americans look alike". So it is with mosquitos. The critter is getting a blood meal from you and won't return until he/she is hungry again.

Yes they do look the same, but what i've always been told is that they die after just one sting! and it may itch alot you may want to take your fingernail and make a cross on the bite and that my friends will stop the itching. hope this helps!!

I don't believe mosquittos die, it would be counterproductive for them as a species to bite (to feed) then plop over dead.

From my understandings, and I could be wrong, only the females bite (or it may be female fleas) ... I have no clue what the males eat to stay alive, heh.

yes it can..if it wants to...it bites you, not sting.........honeybees will dies soon after they sting you because the stinger gets caught in your skin and pulls off from a bee...lets put it this way, it's like losing your legs.

They don't die after they feed. That is the honey bee, who kills itself by stinging you.
