Basically, any player can play in the Olympics next year. Remember how they kept adding players when people kept pulling out, such as Collison? Players that were hurt, had personal issues, weren't selected, etc are still eligible. They can add really, whoever they want by a year's time.

Of course they are eligible. You see, the Olympics is a year away and anything can happen between now and 2008. Some guys on the FIBA-Americas roster may get hurt, opt to rest, deal with some personal issues or just plainly get old which would make Paul, Oden, Durant and - you might've forgotten - Dwyane Wade available for the team. As it is though, I like the present roster and if the '08 Games are played now the U.S. will get the gold back.
