the people that are in my student council for our grade all want to dress up for decades day at our school. we all want to be something cute but that goes together... there's two guys and 3 or 4 girls. so if anyone has any ideas at all to help us because we have no idea what to do and wear? and decades day is for homecoming week so its all about school spirit and since we're the officers we HAVE to dress up and be something very creative/cute/fun. Thanks!

Your group should do a 50's theme. Everyone should dress as one of the stars from Grease! A lot of costume rental shops have the Grease costumes. Like the girls with the poodle skirts & the scarfs tied around their neck & the saddle shoes. And teh guys with jeans, a white muscle shirt & a black leather T-Birds jacket...slicked back hair. That would be the best!

And I'm not copying the guy above me, when I wrote this answer no one had answered yet.

Do a different decade each day of the week:
90s - mailman shoes, droopy butt pants - gangsta style,
80s - big hair
70s - platform shoes, long straight hair, purple eyeshadow with matching nail polish, polyester, pukabeads
60s - hippies, flower children, paisley
50s - shirtdresses, pearl necklace, guys with suits and skinny ties
Do a different singing group each day, and have student body dress in that decade!

Have everyone wear a tie dye tshirt. then you can be hippies from the 60s or 70s.
