Imagine you are the teacher trying to teach a classroom of students ,some who just don't want to be there. It has to be frustrating trying to motivate students who don't care if they can spell, brag about getting F's and complain they are bored. An education is an opportunity to be whatever you want in the future. You are in grade 9 and you should have started thinking what you'd like to do in the future. The teacher can prepare the lessons, give homework assignments, grade your work and meet your parents. The teacher can give you all the tools you need to learn but he/she cannot make you pick up the tools and learn.I just can't see you helping a special ed. student when you seem to have such great difficulty in grasping the basics yourself. When my daughter was in high school she was recommended by the teacher and principal to be a peer tutor as well as peer mediator. They recommended students who did well at school, were respectful to the student population and to the staff. Have you ever been identified with a learning disability? You seem to be very defensive about your lack of spelling skills.I really think you may have some problems but are too embarassed to get help.Well take care EmaWeeE. I hope you have a good school year.Take care.

sit in front
get a good night sleep
ask the occasional question, it will keep you alert

if you paid attention, the homework would not be a problem since this early in the year, it's probably stuff you should have learned last year

*** no matter what your name is, you could ask the teacher for a change of seat if you wanted to learn. Since you don't , why do you care how boring the teacher is?

***is this your first year in high school? If it is and you expect to keep on blowing off "F"s then you are in for a big surprise.
Social promotion does not exist in High School like it does in grade school

my last name starts with "s" too so im in the back of the class rooms as well. makes it easier to day dream or do other things with out getting seen by the teacher. any ways since today was only the 2nd day of school the teachers are still gonna have lots to say. the whole first week is usually like that. yea its annoying but its better then doing work. i remember getting math hw out of the text on the first day of school when i was in 9th grade. yea its stupid but its school so your gonna get some hw.

You can (discreetly) chew gum to help you stay alert. It can be boring, but it is the teacher's job to teach. If they didn't talk the whole class, there would be complaints that they aren't doing their jobs. You need to keep the big picture in mind. You are going to school so that some day you can go to a good college and hopefully have a good career.

I always got Math homework the first day.

Try sitting in the front of the class so you can pay better attention. Yeah, I agree, some teachers teach better than others. Some classes are tediously boring. That's life.

Okay listen to me. I'm going to offer you some real, practical advice here! First of all, this is considered "the introduction days." Take advantage of it, they are slowly bringing you back in from vacation to school. This is such a smart thing your teachers are doing! Second of all, you need to pay close attention because he/she is probably announcing important upcoming dates, stuff you need for class, and other things like that. Third of all, math homework is always going to be boring and you are never going to want it. You have to get it at some point though! Just do it as soon as you get home from school, to save time to do other things that you like..

p.s i love the first week of school it beats the wintertime when i'm cold & tired & lazy! This is the fun "perky" part of school. The warm days. Just take advantage of these light days and you should be fine! No sleeping in class. Trust me i got a D once in math, because i was always resting my head on the desk. Just stay alert and you'll be fine =] good luck!

to you're understanding you might be hearing blah blah blah throughout the lesson and yeah it might seam like total bullshit to you but trust me if you don't listen in class teachers well use that against you not in detention but test if you end up doing a test and find that most of the questions aren't in you're text books you're teacher might of said it class just to prove you must listen
i know its **** but it as happened to me sooooo many times
PS with the Mathe's you'll need it its an everyday thing
i didn't do maths and truthfully its hard to get a job everything is run by Mathe's

I hope you plan on marrying a rich man and being a golddigger when you get older darling. Or work at McDonalds.

There's no way you're going to get good grades, let alone go to a LEGIT college if you continue acting like this. Just suck it up and think about how miserable your life would be if you didn't get a good education.

Granted- some teachers DO suck, but what to do is ask intelligent questions so you won't go to sleep and take notes.

Apparently, judging by your spelling, you need to pay attention and stop falling asleep in class. Get to bed earlier and pay attention in English too.
