hmm probably the basics.. loose leaf paper, calculator, binders, notebooks, pens and pencils
every teacher wants something different so i probably wouldn't buy anything until they let you know. otherwise you're just buying things for no reason

I'd recommend a 1 1/2" to 2" binder for each core subject (so, not art). I'd get 1 or 2 packs of loose leaf paper, too. Don't get a notebook unless your teacher asks for one. Some teachers are leaning in the direction of having students do all of their work in a five subject notebook so they can collect them all at once and see both how well a student in paying attention (notes) and how well they are doing with homework. You'll also need a good calculator like a TI-83 or whatever the newest model of graphing calculator is. Since you're in Spanish 3, you probably already have a Spanish/English dictionary. I'd also recommend the Cliff's notes editions in Chem and Algebra 2 for reference. A good calendar/organizer is also an essential to keep on top of due dates. I like to have a separate monthly calendar for each subject to keep in each binder for immediate reference and use a big one to see what assignments over lap. I don't like folders because loose papers are just an accident waiting to happen. So you might also want a three hole punch for your binder. I'd also get an art portfolio for the art class. Even if you don't need it, you might want it to keep your projects looking nice for the future. Hope this helped!

Get a three ring notebook with pockets for each class, all different colors, and 1, 2, or 3 inch size depending on the difficulty of the course.
Always buy a packet of different colored folders with pockets and page holders, to use for individual projects and assignments.
I buy college ruled paper because they hold more notes, and fine point pens because they last longer.
Always have extra pens/pencils/papers on you, and in your locker.[ batteries for calculator would be good too. ]
Get a pretty assignment book if you can.

well I started school this monday
and I'm a freshman
you'll probably need a binder (probably about 1 1/2 inch) for each class and a folder (with brads probably) for some classes
college ruled notebooks
and of course the basics like #2 pencils, erasable pens, red pens, college ruled paper, colored pencils, etc. etc.
I don't know
that's the sort of stuff that I needed for school :]

Chem H
Get a 2.5 inch binder and three dividers. Mark one: Notes, another: Hand-Outs; and the last one: Test and Quizzes. Also get a folder for HW.
Algebra 2 H
Don't bother with a binder. Get a 3 subject notebook (a lot of note-taking and HW in math) and just use that. Do your HW in your notebook and get a folder for hand-outs and tests and quizzes.
Art 1
I dunno. This really depends on your school, but I'd say some good charcoal pencils and a samll case of pastels. A good eraser and sketchboook are a must as well. :)
Spanish 3
Get a 1.5 or 2 inch binder and divide it up just like your Chem binder. Also get a ONE SUBJECT notebook and take your notes in that.
This is my fool-proof system of organization and it's always worked for me. I hope it works for you too! Good luck with your classes next year!
