i got a guy to look at my front end of my 98 explorer and he said my wheel bearing is bad and my shunt???? what is that??? someone told me its something about a protective ground?

no its not a STRUT. trusy me i know what those are. he said shunt or something. hell i dont even have struts on the front end!!!

not in my case, he said its pretty much totaled (coast more to fix then cars worth) i can still drive it but its gonna fall out some day.

I'd get another opinion. There are shunts used in heart surgery and shunts used in electronic circuits but I've never heard of one on the front end in a car. Or perhaps you just misunderstood him.

a shunt lets current travel one way .what i think u are saying is strut .which is a type of shock adsorb er..good luck.....

a shuny in your experience is a minor collision where hardly any damage caused
