please dont give me a definiton from a website or dictionary tahts is really hard to understand....i looked but its really confusing....can someone just tell me a simple answer

Science is a branch of philosophy in which an observer attempts to understand and explain the reality, especially in natural process, around him/her using the scientific method as his/her tool.
