Get gold and silver coins or bars from a reputable dealer. There are a lot of fake gold coins out there, some even on eBay. Unless you know your stuff, flea markets are out. Pick up a Coin World or Numismatic News from a coin dealer, these are weekly papers, look at the ads in them they may help you. I can not help you with the stamps.

I usually go to a flea market at the college up where I live. It has a lot of old coins. I don't know where to find stamps, unless your talking about those common ones you can find at the post office. Cuz I was given this big book of stamps, so I can't really help you on that. Same with silver bars...
