In public I try to be discreet and sneak it out a little at a time. Sometimes a good, loud "BAPHOOT!" can't be helped. Personally, I find the loud, obnoxious ones more relieving.
More room out than in!

Sometimes. Only if it is a silent-but-deadly. I would rather let it out and be ashamed than hold it in and bust a vein.

Why, yes. I do it in a vast area, i.e. walking the streets. Does letting one out in the car count? It smells, but seriously, it's not good to hold it in. Let it out discreetly.

rarely. I try not too, but sometimes you just gotta do it. So, I make sure no one is around.
Now, I know someone who doesn't care and will do it anywhere, anytime, infront of everyone...

No Way. I find it horrible. I don't even do a number two in a public toilet. It is embarrassing!
